The 7-Day AI Challenge

If you want AI to actually save you time, you must use it more than occasionally. It’s not magic. It’s muscle memory. Using AI needs to be your daily habit.
That’s the idea behind my 7-Day AI Challenge – highlighted below. It’s a simple system I created (and copyrighted) that’s helped hundreds of agents and other real estate professionals stop watching AI from the sidelines and finally make it part of their daily workflow.
It’s also the centerpiece of Chapter 7 in my first book, edited by my oldest son Korey Hawkins, The REAL AI Guide for Real Estate Agents – No Hype. No BS. Just Real ChatGPT Skills You’ll Use Every Day available on Amazon in $19.95 Paperback or $9.95 Kindle
Let me be clear. This isn’t a book about AI. It’s a hands-on playbook packed with proven prompts and methods provided step-by-step to save agents a ton of time when using ChatGPT Business or ChatGPT Pro.
If you’ve captured takeaways from this newsletter, my webinars or training, this book is the handbook you’ll want sitting on your desk. It’s your ChatGPT cheat sheet.
But don’t take it from us. Three industry giants said this:
Brad Inman, Inman.com founder – “Smart. Practical. Essential. It’s what agents need to know about AI – without the hype.”
Mark McLaughlin, former CEO of Pacific Union (now Compass) – “This book delivers the AI playbook every agent has been waiting for by answering the question, ‘How do I get started?’”
Ben Caballero, No. 1-ranked agent since 2013 – “This is your must-have AI guide.”
Here are the quick highlights from Chapter 7:
Your 7-day AI challenge
Each day, do one short task. No pressure, no perfection. Just practice.
Day 1
Don’t use Google at all. Add the ChatGPT app to your phone, then ask ChatGPT every question using voice-to-text. Get used to it.
Day 2
Draft a social post. Paste it into ChatGPT and ask it to rewrite it for clarity, tone, and engagement, adding the most popular/relevant hashtags and a few effective icons.
Day 3
Upload a photo of a flyer with a lot of text, your handwritten notes, or a PDF. Ask ChatGPT to format it into a well-structed Word doc so you can store and/or edit it.
Day 4
Upload a complex doc – like an inspection report or zoning ordinance. Ask ChatGPT to summarize it and give you bulleted highlights in plain English.
Day 5
Role-play a tough client conversation. Ask ChatGPT to suggest calm, confident responses. You can do the same thing to craft a reply to an emotionally charged client email.
Day 6
Ask ChatGPT to brainstorm 12 blog or newsletter topics tailored to your market, season, and voice. (Our new book also has all the instructions you need to teach ChatGPT to write like you and sound like your voice and brand.)
Day 7
Copy your recent activity from your online credit card statement. Ask ChatGPT to sort the details into tax-deductible categories and provide subtotals.
Bottom line
Daily use is the fastest path to build AI confidence – and trust.
Consider buying our new paperback book to use reference tool that sits on your desk for easy access. Read it today and take back more time to do more of the things you want to do tomorrow. (-Kevin)
