This Thursday I’ll be joining a panel at Inman Connect San Diego titled “M&A All Day: Why 2025 is the Year for Consolidation.” We’ll be getting into the mechanics of how capital, founders, and strategy come together to shape what’s next in real estate technology. You can find the session listing here: Inman Agenda.

Here’s who I’ll be on stage with:

Keelan Marks represents Stone Point Capital, one of the most active private equity investors in real estate and mortgage technology. His work spans some of the firm’s most important partnerships in the space—including Stone Point’s investments in CoreLogic (now Cotality), Keller Williams, and Lone Wolf Technologies. Keelan brings a wide-angle view of how capital shapes strategy at scale, and how aligned partnerships create long-term value for both operators and investors.

John Berkowitz, best known as the co-founder of OJO Labs, recently led the company through a successful acquisition by Lower, the digital-first mortgage company. John’s experience building OJO into a leading AI-powered home search and guidance platform gives him a front-row perspective on how consumer experience, data science, and strategic capital come together. He’s walked the founder’s path from idea to exit—and his take on what it really takes to scale is always candid and compelling.

Clelia Peters will moderate our session. She grew up in the brokerage business—her father, Frederick Warburg Peters, led one of New York’s most respected firms, Warburg Realty. Celia later served as the firm’s president before moving into venture capital, where she’s helped shape the real estate innovation ecosystem from the ground up. As co-founder of MetaProp and later a venture partner at Bain Capital Ventures, she’s now leading Era Ventures, where her investment thesis continues to focus on the intersection of housing, technology, and equity. She brings a broker’s intuition and a VC’s precision to every conversation.

This panel will unpack how partnerships—between investors, operators, and founders—are shaping the next generation of proptech innovation.

If you’re attending Inman Connect, I hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a thoughtful, unscripted conversation. Stop by, and say hi!
