Mobile Realty Apps is currently interviewing individuals who will lead their sales to MLSs nationally. This individual will work closely with the national Broker sales manager to reach company sales objectives. OPPORTUNITY: Mobile Realty Apps a leading provider of mobile products for the real estate industry is seeking to hire a sales executive for the position of National Sales Manager MLS Accounts. The position will be responsible for building revenues by securing new MLS customers for their mobile technology products and for managing existing account relations and renewals. The position reports directly to the CEO.

ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION: Mobile Realty Apps is a profitable, funded startup that has experienced substantial revenue growth in the last twelve months. Founded in 2009, the company provides best-of-breed, white-labeled tablet and smartphone app solutions to the real estate industry. The company was recognized as the “Most Innovative Real Estate Startup” at the Inman Conference in July 2012 – in large part due to its industry leading solutions, including its augmented-reality HomeSpotter technology and its unique approach to deep MLS integration with its edgeMLS product line. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the company has a growing base of clients across North America, servicing large MLSs in markets such as Seattle, Minneapolis, and Long Island, as well as large broker clients such as Edina Realty.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for expanding the MLS Sales Channels.
Responsible for all facets of sales including:
- Lead development
- Presentation of products and business opportunities
- Proposal development
- Interfacing with fellow sales executives as needed
- Product promotion in new accounts
- Account maintenance activities
- Renewing existing accounts
- Participating in product improvement activities
Position requires travel to trade shows, conferences and account sales presentations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS/JOB SKILLS: College degree as well as proven senior sales experience. The successful candidate has proven skills in selling technology products and services in the real estate sector. He/she will have multiple years of sales experience and will be adept at presenting and securing business deals working with senior management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network of relationships with MLS/Association executives. He/She will possess superior business and presentation skills. This individual has a clear knowledge of the decision making process in MLSs and associations. Ideally he/she will have the reputation and knowledge needed to contact and secure appointments, present technology products, close deals and provide excellent on-going support throughout the implementation and adoption cycle.
The successful candidate will also be a strong “large audience” presenter comfortable representing the company when opportunities arise.
In addition the ideal candidate will be able to negotiate profitable deals and will be able to recommend new business models and approaches to meet the individual needs of each account.
The position requires the ability to travel throughout the United States and Canada as needed.
