LOS ANGELES (June 5) – calREDDTM today announced its intent to join California Real Estate Technology Services (CARETS).
calREDDTM anticipates becoming a full member of CARETS once its MLS services are launched in late summer. In the meantime, calREDD is actively working with CARETS to align slight differences in rules between the two entities prior to calREDD’s launch.
“calREDDTM will be agreeing to terms identical to all other members of CARETS and looks forward to working with the entire group of MLSs in the CARETS system,” said Mike Silvas, CALMLS chairman. “Together, we accomplish the common goal of providing easy access to all statewide property listings; a single MLS rule set for the entire state; and a single MLS membership requirement to access all property listings throughout California.”
“Through its association with CARETS, calREDDTM underscores its commitment to improve access to property listings through technology that is both cutting-edge and cost-effective,” said CARETS Chairperson Donna O’Donnell. “We look forward to working with calREDDTM as we continue to expand the CARETS footprint and to offer greater levels of listing data to all of our existing participants and subscribers.”
