Trend MLSIt has been about a year now, and Move has successfully launched the Find product into many of the nations’ leading MLSs. In score with this roll out, today Find launched in Trend MLS, serving 15 counties in southern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware is the latest MLS to launch the product.

You may know that Trend MLS is what industry insiders call a “home grown” system – meaning that they are responsible for programming the MLS software. Owning the code and having programmers on staff means that tighter and more elegant implementations of third party products are possible within the framework of the core MLS. This is not to say that CoreLogic, LPS, FBS, Rapattoni or others are not able to duplicate this integration – but in most cases, they have not.

With Find, real estate professionals are able to research national and local real estate information not found in most MLS systems. MLSs seeking this level of data have often licensed the information from providers like eNeighborhoods, Maponics, or Onboard Informatics. The game changer for Find is that it is free from Move in exchange for the ability to display sold listings on REALTOR.com.

Key research data assets include the following:

Community report

The community report provides agents with access to a wealth of lifestyle-oriented community and demographic information such as: Income levels, Own vs. rent ratios, Age groups, Educational information

Map layers

Numerous map layers also provide agents and their clients with a wealth of useful information. From the map, you can show your clients things like: School district boundaries; Flight, hazard and hurricane paths; Nearby businesses such as restaurants, post offices, gyms and hospitals

Branded reports
Once agents have added listings to the client report, or “bin”, they can send that information directly to clients through the share button in Find. But the best thing about these reports is that when they are sent, they’re already branded with the agent’s personal information, like your photo, office logo and contact information.
