According to an announcement made today, real estate agents in the Silicon Valley California based MLSListings now have the ability to change prices and edit public and private remarks through the MLS-Touch mobile application. Another key new field that they are planning in the future is listing status update. The data modified in MLS-Touch flows into both CoreLogic’s Matrix product as well as Black Knight’s Paragon product and all the MLSListings data feeds. The release indicates that these editable fields are the first of many that will continue to be added over time.
This is not the first time that MLSListings has displayed their ability to support third party applications with listing add/edit. MLSListings has joined CoreLogic customers like Bright MLS, Northstar MLS, and others by creating their own Listing Management application that is separate from Matrix. MLS Listings is also scheduled to be the second MLS in America to support full add/edit though UpstreamRE. WAV Group is seeing a growing trend by MLSs to support two-way integration with application developers for real estate agents and brokers.
Some background about MLS-Touch. In May of 2018, CoreLogic announced an exclusive agreement to be the United States distributer of Prospects Software, MLS-Touch. MLS-Touch allows real estate professionals to access all of the Matrix MLS data from either a Google or Apple mobile device. Agents can access all active, pending, and sold listings though the map, criteria, or MLS number search. The company has long been a favorite mobile application in many CoreLogic markets.
One of the chief benefits of MLS-Touch is speed. The data is synchronized between Matrix and MLS-Touch in nearly real time. Agents also have access to showing instructions, private remarks, commission information, and other confidential information. The application also allows agents to access the full roster of other brokerages and agents. Other key features of MLS-Touch is its feature rich Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)., Buyer and Seller Tour manager, and flyer system.
