RAPB and GFLR LogosRABP and GFLR are at it again by creating an even larger footprint for their brokers in South Florida and the Treasure Coast Market! Now all of Broward County is combined into one entity making it easier for brokers to expand their footprint and leverage MLS data for marketing and business intelligence. This combined effort makes the organization the 3rd largest Association in the country! And certainly one of the most progressive!

This is exactly the reason we awarded the organization with our first ever WAVES of Change Award!

Congratulations team!

RAPB + GFLR and the South Broward Board of Realtors®

Merge for Complete Jurisdiction in Broward

It’s official! The Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAPB + GFLR) and the South Broward Board of Realtors® (SBBOR) members have voted to merge. As a combined association, they now have 33,000 Realtors® and 35,000 MLS subscribers in the South Florida and Treasure Coast market. The MLS will feature 57,000 active listings and 31 billion in listing inventory.

The merged entity has complete association jurisdiction in Broward County and the majority of the MLS listings in Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties.

“Today marks an exciting day in association history. We’re bringing Realtors® together to be the official voice of real estate in Broward County. Our collective members were already doing the majority of the business in Broward, and with complete jurisdiction, they now have an even stronger market presence and can work seamlessly to protect homeownership in the county,” said Dionna Hall, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer for the combined association.

“The dynamic business plan for this partnership will allow Realtors® to remain hyper-local and work across counties with ease. This is an important part of strengthening Broward County. Plus, our Realtors® gain the added bonus of more listing data through a powerful, robust system and free IDX feeds,” said Jeffrey Levine, RAPB + GFLR President.

“This partnership allows both associations to better serve their membership and build a stronger community of Realtors® in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The SBBOR Pembroke Pines office will remain open and all staff will continue to give the customer service that SBBOR members have grown to love. There will also be a new South Broward Regional Board of Directors who will localize community initiatives,” said Jaime Flasterstein, SBBOR President.

Together, the associations have the resources to enhance member services and continually roll-out new benefits, so members have the support they need when they need it. Over 1,000 education opportunities will now be offered to SBBOR members across 7 member service centers throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. When it comes to Public Policy and RPAC Fundraising, both associations have enjoyed a successful partnership and worked well together to promote the Realtor® Party platform in Broward County.

RAPB + GFLR and South Broward look forward to the future as the new merger will allow the combined membership the chance to enjoy new products, services, and support to propel their success. They are the 3rd largest Realtor® association in the country.
