FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RealMLS names Nicole Jensen their new Chief Executive Officer
Nicole Jensen joins Florida’s realMLS as Chief Executive Officer
Jacksonville, Florida, July 16, 2020 – RealMLS – a forward-thinking MLS organization serving nearly 10,000 real estate professionals in the Northeast Florida area announced today it has named Nicole Jensen as its new Chief Executive Officer. Nicole will also serve as CEO of Metro Market Trends, a wholly owned subsidiary of realMLS that delivers Property Records, market statistics and reports.
Jensen joins realMLS from her previous positions at MIBOR, Palm Spring Regional Association of REALTORS® and REALTORS® Association of Lincoln.
“Nicole is an MLS industry veteran, demonstrating her progressive thinking, leadership and customer-centric focus in her roles at MIBOR, PSRAR and Lincoln,” said Mario Gonzalez, President of realMLS. “Her enthusiasm, combined with her depth of knowledge of all things MLS is going to help realMLS continue to strengthen its position as one of the most relevant MLSs in America.”
Jensen has been in the MLS industry since 1997 when she first joined the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln as an MLS Administrator. In 2010, she was named Executive Vice President. The leadership she has shown along the way has positively impacted many. Her prior employees credit her with their career success due to her mentorship.
After leaving Lincoln, Jensen moved to Palm Springs, California to help evolve their organization. Even in her short time there, she was able to work towards bringing local Associations together to find better ways to collaborate and share MLS services.
When provided an opportunity to serve brokers directly at one of the most noteworthy MLSs in America, featuring a Broker Listing Cooperative instead of a multiple listing service, Jensen moved her family to Indianapolis to become the Vice President of Business Technology for MIBOR.
“We at realMLS ultimately chose Nicole because we believe her leadership style is a great cultural fit for our organization. Our customers thrive when we listen closely and adapt our services and support in real-time. Nicole has proven to be a nimble and agile leader with a depth of management skills to inspire rapid change to meet the needs of the market”, says Katherine Karr-Garcia, Chairman of the realMLS search committee.
Nicole will be replacing Ron Stephan, who is retiring after 27 years in the MLS industry. He has positioned realMLS well for a long future of growth and vitality.
