I’m so excited to see the Broker Public Portal movement achieve another exciting milestone!


MRED and their highly rated MLS system provider Dynaconnections have created the ability for agents to enhance the saved searches they send to their clients by allowing consumers to see their saved searches via Homesnap.  

BPP naysayers believed that this type of integration was impossible.  They also believed the Broker Public Portal would never be able to deliver over 1 million FREE leads in less than a year or successfully engage more than 160 MLSs representing nearly 900,000 agents either.  This is the just the latest demonstration that the BPP is arguably THE most successful industry initiative we’ve seen in the last 20 years or more!  

I’m happy to say that WAV Group has been engaged with this program from its inception. My partner Victor Lund facilitated the very first organizational meeting for this program!   We remain inspired by the progress that has been made to date!  We love it when we are able to drive home positive waves of change for our industry!

LISLE, Ill, OCTOBER 25, 2018 — Chicagoland multiple listing service (MLS) giant Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) today announced the successful integration of Homesnap, the public-facing brand of the Broker Public Portal (BPP), into its MLS system. This marks a major step forward for the national home search platform as the first true consumer-facing app for MLSs.

MRED customers will now be able to send search results to clients through Homesnap with this integration. Additionally, consumers who receive listing alert emails via Homesnap can mark their interest levels on specific listings within the Homesnap app and this information will be sent to their agent.

“We’re always working to improve the quality of resources for our customers while serving the needs of consumers,” said Rebecca Jensen, MRED President/CEO. “Integrating Homesnap into connectMLS shows massive immediate and long-term benefits. This change will appear to MRED’s connectMLS users as an additional button in search results, but the impact of integration is far bigger than the small check box representing it. The integration demonstrates MRED’s commitment to making Homesnap the main destination for Chicagoland consumers to find homes for sale and connect with real estate professionals.
