According to Cantey Davis, current President, and FMLS Board Member, “We’re thrilled to have Jeremy coming on board with us.  His unique blend of talents is rarely found in the real estate industry: He is a proven technologist, skilled communicator and accomplished business leader.”

Crawford comes to FMLS from his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO).  During his tenure with RESO, membership has grown over 800% to 850 members, now representing well over 1 million real estate professionals and just about every franchise, large brokerage and broker organization including the Realty Alliance and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.  Today, over 95 percent of MLSs now offer MLS data via the RESO Data Dictionary and over 80% offer MLS data via the RESO Web API, both of which make it easier for brokers to save time and money while expanding into new markets and rolling out innovative new products.  Jeremy will remain engaged with RESO serving as a 2019 Board Advisor.

Jeremy Crawford started his successful career in real estate in the summer of 2001 as Director of Network Operations and the 16th employee at Marketlinx Solutions, now known as CoreLogic, one of the largest real estate technology and information service companies in the world.

In 2006, Jeremy joined San Diego-based Sandicor, a leading MLS products, and services provider as its Chief Information Officer.  He was subsequently elected Secretary to the Corporation. While there, he also served for two years as Vice-Chair of the National Association of REALTORS® Real Estate Standards Organization Education and Outreach Workgroup and won the 2010 San Diego’s Information Technology of the Year Award.

In 2011 Crawford was named Chief Information Officer for MLSListings Inc., one of the most progressive MLSs in the nation, which serves 16,000 real estate professionals and more than 6,000 firms throughout Northern California.  At MLSListings he was responsible for all aspects of Enterprise Information Technology. Shortly thereafter, Crawford was promoted to Chief Operations Officer and added to his CIO responsibilities managing customer support, Rules & Regulations, Compliance, Data Licensing, and Software Engineering. He also was elected Secretary to the Corporation, becoming a Corporate Officer in 2013. While COO at MLSListings, Crawford was the lead for the Council of MLS’s Technology Section Council. He left MLSListings to head up RESO in April 2015.

A Council of MLS CMLX Level 2 Certified Executive, today Crawford also serves on the DocuSign Executive Advisory Council, the Interop Advisory Board, and served as President of his local homeowner’s association in Corinth Forest in 2016 and 2017, about 40 miles north of Dallas, Texas.

Charlotte Sears, FMLS Board Member and Chair of FMLS’ CEO Search Committee says, “We’re thrilled to have Jeremy join us – we’re confident that Jeremy’s proven passion and skills evolving and strengthening real estate organizations is going to help take FMLS to new heights.”

Jeremy has been married to his wife Taylor for 13 years and loves spending time with his two young children.  He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University.

Jeremy will be beginning his position at FMLS at February 11, 2019.

FMLS retained WAV Group, Inc., to assist in the process of determining its first new Chief Executive Officer in nearly 20 years.  More than 50 applicants were initially considered.  Candidates were screened through a telephone interview with the search firm, followed by a telephone and live interviews with the FMLS Board of Directors who made the final decision.
