The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, documenting product specification, and working closely with development, account management, sales, marketing and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met.
The Product Manager will oversee development of the requirements for new and existing products. He/she will be responsible for gathering customer and real estate consumer insights and then reflecting their needs and product feedback into the requirements for each product. The Product Manager will also be responsible for closely monitoring competition and providing consistent input to product development to continually improve the functionality, usability and look and feel of each of the company’s broker and agent products.
The goal of this position is to help the company continually increase sales by helping to maintain the current customer base as well as expanding the universe of users for current and new products. The ideal candidate will also be successful at helping to increase the average order size for each customer by successfully outlining add-on products, product bundles and upsell paths. In addition to product development tasks, they will also be responsible for identifying and forming partnerships with third parties with complementary product offerings that can be seamlessly integrated into the platform. They will work closely with marketing to establish pricing and effective marketing programs for building awareness of the unique value proposition of the product suite.
The Product Manager is responsible for driving the success of the strategic product priorities of the organization based on strategic and organizational goals. They are also responsible for contributing to the financial health of the organization, closely managing customer satisfaction trends and working together with product development to drive down product development costs. They are also responsible for working collaboratively with product development, sales, marketing and customer service to lead the effort to build products that meet the needs of customers and help increase customer loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of software product management and real estate software products experience. They will have proven proficiencies in software and Internet technologies with sensitivity to the needs of real estate consumers.
They will have proven ability to communicate effectively with both customer-facing departments as well as product development and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus.
In their product management experience they will have proven experience in producing product specifications with a strong ability to supplement words with screen shots and other tools to communicate what is required.
The ideal candidate will have a current working knowledge of consumer usability requirements and intuitive usability design.
They will also have a proven track record in defining products with usability, scalability and performance.

They will be a team player with strong interpersonal and team-building skills and be comfortable engaging with clients and business partners.
They will be able to clearly outline and manage timelines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
