POSITION TITLE:  Director of Broker Sales

Immobel is seeking to hire a seasoned real estate technology sales professional for the position of Director of Broker Sales to generate new broker customers for the company.  The successful candidate will have proven success selling web and technology solutions to large brokers.  They will also bring a robust database of engaged brokers they can tap into.

Since Immobel helps brokers expand their presence Internationally, the ideal candidate will have experience selling to luxury brokers that already understand the importance of the International market. They will also be able to evangelize the importance of the International market with data and information provided by Immobel.  They will have strong experience generating new business contacts from the trade show floor of broker trade shows like Century 21, ERA, Coldwell Banker and others.

The successful candidate will have proven skills in prospecting and cold-calling potential new broker clients throughout the country. They will also have a strong track record in closing a significant number of their clients within a reasonable timeframe.  They will be adept at working with CRM solutions like Salesforce.com and will be comfortable providing regular updates on the status of the sales program. They will be proactive in suggesting new sales programs as well as feeding new ideas to the company based on customer feedback.

In addition to the broker products, the company also offers an agent self-serve product. This site called RealBuzz is ranked  #1, 2 or 3 on International search engines.  This has helped the company create a robust and profitable agent product as well, which has become an important focus for the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Director of Sales

  • Responsible for prospecting daily to significantly expand the sales funnel with medium to large brokers.
  • Responsible for generating significant revenues within a reasonable amount of time tapping into their current customer relationships as well as developing new relationships.
  • Proven to be successful at making the most of trade shows by scheduling a full suite of meetings with highly qualified target customers
  • Proven skills at success in working remotely – highly self-motivated, disciplined and organized
  • Proven ability to effectively populate and maintain the company’s CRM tool, Salesforce.com so that it can be used as the core method of tracking prospecting demos, proposals and closing meetings, providing full transparency of sales activity to the CEO.

As revenues grow and the number of broker accounts increases, it is possible that this position will grow into a sales management as well as direct selling position over time.

REQUIREMENTS/JOB SKILLS: Proven senior sales experience in the real estate industry as well as experience working with medium to large brokers nationwide.  The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, at a minimum, selling into the real estate technology sector.  They will be comfortable presenting and securing business deals at the senior management level of brokers.

Possessing superior business and presentation skills, this individual will also have a clear knowledge of the decision making process of brokers and will have the reputation and knowledge needed to contact and secure appointments, present technology products and close deals.  Successful candidates will also be strong “large audience” presenters to promote product adoption when needed.

COMPENSATION:  Immobel offers a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary, commissions and full benefits.
