ListTrac is now reporting metrics from nearly every major IDX vendor, the major portals, and the MLS systems.
Generating leads and identifying more serious buyers can be a very expensive proposition. The MLS system itself - featuring a myriad of ways to share and promote properties - is arguably the best business generation source.
For those that read our blog regularly, you know that I am a BIG fan of the MLS marketing results that ListTrac delivers in an easy-to-read weekly report. ListTrac is a key tool in helping MLSs take credit for the business generation opportunities they provide by supporting IDX, mobile apps like Homesnap, third-party syndication as well as their own prospecting delivered via the MLS system and local Consumer-facing websites. Recently, ValleyMLS added reporting on views, inquiries, saved listings and shares for Paragon and the Client Collaboration Center to its ListTrac reporting platform.
In the past 12 months, the organization has generated 15,000 FREE leads for its members via Homesnap, ValleyMLS.com and the IDX feeds it facilitates for its subscribers.
In an email blast to Century 21 brokers and agents today, Century 21 released the Golden Ruler powered by ListTrac®, a reporting tool that allows sellers, agents, and brokers to see the engagement that a property is getting across the Internet.

MLSs measure listing engagement with their websites and syndication websites using services like ListHub™ and ListTrac™. These companies either get traffic statistics directly from publishers (like Zillow) or put tracking software on websites that [...]

Greater Alabama MLS and ListTrac put out a joint press release that you will find below. ListTrac is free, which makes it an attractive product for any MLS. We are keeping a close eye on them to see how it goes. Today, the voice of real estate seems to be the publisher sites - nobody is counting the traffic in the MLS or IDX sites. However, we know from looking at MLS activity, auto-email, MLS consumer website traffic, and, IDX site traffic that - if measured, equates to some significant consumer listing engagement. Under NDA, WAV Group has seen [...]
