Not sure if MoxiWorks will replace Zap or not, but it is pretty clear that Moxi has some powerful traction. What is being done in Canada is not likely to have much bearing on what is done here in America – but it is a signal.

From 2009 to 2013, WAV Group spent a significant portion of our brokerage consulting on explaining what a Virtual Office Website (VOW) is and how it is different from an Internet Data Exchange (IDX) website. Now VOW websites are being discussed again in brokerage meetings and for good reason. Digital paper only brokers have been able to build spectacularly successful businesses that leverage IDX to develop referrals that take a 30% bite out of agent commissions. Bright MLS harnesses MLS data to deliver breakthrough new Home Demand Index

Bright MLS created the idea of building a unique method for measuring current and future home demand by examining property search, MLS activity and showing appointment velocity to provide a look at present and future market demand. They partnered with T3 Sixty to build a Home Demand Index.

Cleveland, Dayton, Northwest Ohio MLS Systems Partner to Share Listing Data

Today, three of Ohio’s significant MLSs have announced a reciprocal access agreement. All three are CoreLogic Matrix markets, eliminating the need for agents to learn a different system when they link into the other MLS market. This is a very cost effective way to accomplish many of the goals of data sharing. Kudos to the folks in Ohio that discovered the vision for collaboration that is appropriate for their area.
